I found a bug in hively 1.4 today. I found it in the OS4 version, and i guess its probably in the os3.x and aros ports.

Basically, the undo system had a parameter set as byte when it should have been 16bit-word. The upshot is that when some parameters are set to 128 or more, they actually get set to 65000-odd. The worst side-effect of this is if you set the song length to 128 or more, it gets corrupted, and if you then save the song, you get a massive corrupt file and probably a crash and you'll lose your song.

So, for now, keep to 127 song length or shorter.

The good news is that I have fixed it and will now concentrate on doing a 1.5 release sooner rather than later.

AHX forever!
