Greetings!

I noticed this website hosts many versions of the Planet Hively demoscene demo at http://www.hivelytracker.co.uk/planethively/, which is pretty cool.

I'm not sure if it's adequate to ask this in these forums, but the thing is, I notice the two .img files found in that link (planethively_macos-classic.img & planethively_macos-src.img) are damaged: they got damaged the moment they got hosted on a webserver.

Would it be possible to reupload them, but archived or compressed in a format like .sit, .bin or .hqx?

This is because unless this is done, the "Resource Fork" of Mac files isn't preserved, leading them to be damaged beyond repair.

If anyone would be so kind, I'd be eternally glad!

Alternatively, is it known who the author of the Classic Mac version is? Perhaps I could reach him/her instead?

I can't remember who did the classic mac ports. It might be worth asking on the pouet page...?

I appreciate you trying to help, though, I'm happy I got a response.

With the help of many, I put together a list+download of all classic Mac demoscenes ever made for the Macintosh, but sadly I couldn't include Planet Hively there, being forced to list it as one of the few "missing"/"lost" demos: https://macintoshgarden.org/apps/demoscene-demos-macintosh
