I think it'd be cool to have a thread where we can discuss songs in the "Tunes" section of this site, because I like discussing music but I don't know many people who know the music that comes out of this "community" of HT users except for the users themselves. I mean, I could and do share HT tunes when I can, but it feels rather contrived to tell have somebody to listen to a song just so I can talk about it, especially since they may end up not being very engaged by it.

We could talk about the general impressions they gave us, interesting instruments, composition, whatever. Anything about the tunes.

So, I will start.

Syphus' "Afterstorm" is really awesome to listen to between 4-6am. Especially with the sound of birds just waking up and warming up their voices. :) It's a great song to start the day with (or end an all-nighter, for that matter).

Does anybody know what genre of music "Meltwater" is? I've heard Brother Android do similar sounding stuff (though more rhythmic), and I've heard a few other artists too, but I'm completely unfamiliar with the style.

"Forsaken" by Virgill is really beautiful and tragic and hopeful, and I really want to do a cover/remix of it with my guitar and ukulele and other things. I love melodic chipmusic.
