Heeey!

That's pretty frickin' KEWL muzaxdisk! It was very well worth the wait imho. It is really cheerful with the sun and the flowers and all .. that bonus tune was .. ahem. well, hehe.. what the text said about it is enough, I reckon :)

Great tunes by other people - this is one of the competitions where I feel my tune placed pretty much where it should have placed anyways, in some others I have felt I didn't deserve the too high or low ranking I got, but here I think the tune fits pretty well where it is residing, as it was not my very best work, but it's still listenable, perhaps.

There were some very energetic songs, and I am glad that the coders went on their way to create the little details that makes the user smile - like the falling petals, the 'shootable' butterflies, and all.

The texts were nice and inspiring read, and it's always good to read other composer's thoughts about things, it gives perspective..

All in all, good work, people - thanks, Xeron and others - and what a splendid music disk you gave us!

(Btw, I was at first a bit sad to see that people had written stuff and nobody had asked me if I want to say something - but when I found my tune there, I realized I had just FORGOTTEN that I was asked to say something :) So it was a pleasant surprise to read my own texts there, hehe :))

I am very happy about the music disk, you have done excellent work!

Sincerely,

- Monk

Hey by the way - now that I have a real A1200 and a 030@50MHz in it - I'd like to try to get Hively working with it also .. is it even possible without a gfx-card? I mean, does Hively work with AGA in any way?

Then again, maybe AHX is enough for me for that machine, as I can always use Hively with the PC .. just using it with the real thing is kinda a tempting idea to try .. And I can always continue any AHX tune I have made with A1200, using the Hively then later on with it and make it bigger etc..

So maybe it's not really that necessary thing.. still, if there IS a possibility, I would surely like to know about it (-8

Hively does work without a gfx card, but its far too slow to be useful on an 030. You need an 060.
